Homeland

house made of string - hearts in centre and chimney

I lived in a nice house back in Iraq, Baghdad. It was a big house with three floors and a big yard. The walls were white and gray and the tiles were white and black. I lived with my family which has five members, my father, mother, brother and my sister. I used to sleep with my siblings in one big room. We had a big living room with television and a radio. That room was full of life and I still remember the nights we spent with my parents talking and laughing loudly together. We had family pictures on the walls and masterpieces all around the house. We also had a guest room that we only used when we had guests. At that time, only guests were allowed to stay in it and not children because it was clean and neat. My family and I had great memories in that house, and I would always remember it as my home.
