How to make a Jell-O Cake

I would like to share the recipe of Jell-O Cake that my family loves. Whenever I make it, it’s gone as soon as it’s ready to eat because it not only tastes great but is very light. There is no fat in it and is very suitable for people on diet.

Ingredients for the cake

  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 7 eggs beaten and mixed with vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Ingredients for the Jell-O

  • 2 small packs of Strawberry Jell-O
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 medium can sliced pineapple

Preparation - Cake

  1. Mix all the ingredients of the cake together very well with an electric mixer if possible.
  2. Lightly grease the pan with a little butter or oil.
  3. Pour the batter in the pan and put it in the preheated oven at 350-degree F. Bake for   about 45 to 60 minutes or until ready.
  4. While the cake in the oven you can make the Jell-O.

Preparation - Jell-O

  1. Boil 4 cup of water. Empty the Jell-O packs in it. Stir until the Jell-O crystals until melt.
  2. Take another pan of the size and shape of the first pan you used for the cake. Spread the pineapple slices evenly at the bottom of the tray and then put the Jell-O on top of the fruit pieces gently after it has cooled down.
  3. Put the pan in the refrigerator while the cake is still in the oven.
  4. After the cake is ready, let it cool down.
  5. Then put the cake over the Jell-O and put it again in the refrigerator until they are attached together.
  6. Take it out from the fridge and flip it over on a serving dish.

The cake is now ready to enjoy!
