Canada

Highway passing below the Canadian Rockies, Banff National Park, Alberta

I lived in Calgary with my husband, but we decided to move to Ontario because here we would have more opportunities to find a better job. So, we decided to have an exciting adventure and drive across Canada. We travelled by road with our friends for 6 days. We discovered that the immense Canadian territory has diverse natural landscapes, meadows, mountains, immense parks and beautiful lakes.

We left Alberta and its Rocky Mountains and travelled through the prairies, where the landscape was simply flat for miles. It was spring, and we had nice weather. Some days we had sun, but other days we had rain and thunder. We visited other provinces such as Saskatchewan and Manitoba and cities like Regina, Winnipeg, Kenora, Thunder Bay, and Sault St Marie.

All the cities had excellent scenery. When we entered Ontario, the landscape totally changed to immense and beautiful lakes, bays and forests.

We drove during the day to appreciate the beautiful nature that Canada offers. At night we preferred to rest in good accommodations. In the hotels and motels, we did not find many empty rooms, so we all slept together. We were 8 people in one room, and it was a lot of fun.

Canada has good infrastructure in all its provinces and guarantees an excellent trip. The roads are huge and impressive. There is a lot of security, and you find everything for your needs. This was an unforgettable experience for all of us. I recommend travelling across Canada like we did.
