Housing

rooftops of 3 houses

We are three families living in Brampton city, Canada. Previously, we all lived in Gujarat, India in different cities, and not known to each other,

After arriving in Brampton, we came into contact with each other, in our social get together programme and became friends.

Now, my daughter and the ladies, they are fast friends along with families.

After some time they decided to buy new homes in same locality and nearby. At present, their two homes are situated next to each other while third is at crossline in a such a way that theirs backyards are adjoining to each other. In the locality each and every house has separated their backyard by installing fences to maintain privacy from each other. At this time these three families have decided not to make separate backyard, but to keep them open, due to this there is a huge backyard. Hence children of all three families, play various games on the lawn of backyard during summer and we can also arrange get together party in the backyard.

The children of all three families are also fast friends, hence sometimes they make new recipes at any one of the homes and enjoy sharing among themselves.

On Father's Day, children decided to arrange a surprise party for parents.

They prepared snacks called in Gujarati " Bhajia " and in English it is like fried dumpling which is made of gram or chick peas flour and different vegetables such as potato, onion, chillies paneer and bread , eaten with "Chatani", sweet curd and juice as per choice of individual, in the evening time in our very huge backyard.

During the pandemic there was no picnic or get together at the park back in summer. During the summer, occasionally on a Saturday in the evening, there was a party of three families in our backyard by rotation and we all enjoyed a good evening party.

There are three families living at Brampton as very good neighbors.
