There are many ways to cook meat and the ingredients that go with it. Among the famous dishes for meat is meat in a tray which is prepared in many Arab countries, especially in the Bilad al Sham area of Syria.

Ingredients:

  • A piece of red pepper, sliced.
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into circles.
  • A quarter of a teaspoon of paprika.
  • A green pepper, sliced.
  • A small onion, finely chopped.
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced.
  • A quarter of a bunch of chopped parsley.
  • A tablespoon of corn oil.
  • A kilogram of ground meat.
  • A pinch of salt and black pepper.
  • 2 onions, sliced in round slices.

How to prepare:

First, put ground meat in a deep bowl. Second, add chopped onion, garlic, and a small amount of parsley to it. Third, season it with red pepper, salt, and black pepper, and mix the ingredients together well. Next, put onion slices in a separate dish, add green pepper and red pepper to it. Also season them with black pepper and salt, add corn oil and mix well. Then, put the meat kofta in a baking tray and add vegetable mixture to the tomato slices. After that, put the tray in the hot oven for 20 minutes until the kofta is well cooked, and then serve it.
