Raw Organic Medjool Dates Ready to Eat

Do you have a sweet tooth like me? If you do, you will love this recipe, which is super easy to make, is healthy and the results are always good. So here it is:

Ingredients

  • Medjool dates - about 12
  • Dark chocolate chips - 8 oz melted
  • Roasted Almonds - about 12
  • Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Shredded coconut - half a cup
  • Walnuts - a quarter cup

Directions

Start by taking the pits out of the Medjool dates and stuff them with one roasted almond in each.

Add oil to the chocolate chips and melt them in a pot. You may use microwave to melt the chips. If you are using microwave, 30 seconds should be enough. Dip the dates into the melted chocolate. Place the chocolate covered dates on parchment paper placed on a flat dish. Sprinkle shredded coconut and walnuts on the dates.

Put it in the in the freezer for 15 minutes, until the chocolate sets. Then eat and enjoy!
