Canada

My family and I travelled to Vancouver; we stayed in Canada this time! We planned our trip with the kids and tried to spend as much time having fun and being as happy as possible.

We boarded a plane and headed for Vancouver from Toronto. My son was very excited and happy. We had booked a Holiday Inn hotel in advance and took an Uber to the hotel. When we got there, smoke from the forest fires was blocking most of the view. Shortly after that, it started raining and that made our trip more pleasant. What's interesting and scary at the same time is that we travelled during the pandemic time.

However, beautiful Vancouver helped us to forget about COVID and to enjoy our time there. Our first stop was to the Van Gough Museum, we hadn’t been there before. Then, we went to Grouse Mountain and went to the top of the mountain via the Sky Ride. Grouse Mountain is wonderful, mesmerizing and huge, and so tall. I remember the 2010 Winter Olympics were held here. It is truly a wonderful natural complex.

The most exciting and memorable place was Joffre Lake; silent and mysterious and it was so beautiful. It was as though all of nature with all its beauty was present.

On the last day of the trip, we toured the Botanical Garden. There we saw many kinds of plants and beautiful flowers. The people in Vancouver were so friendly and kind. The most important part of the trip? Our memories, our photos, and our adventures!
