Large swimming pool at Radium Hot Springs

My husband and I were free of our duty and the decision to go to Radium was very spontaneous. I was looking for the cheapest housing prices and I found them in the Apple Tree motel. On Monday the sixteenth of August we left our home very early and in the evening we arrived in Radium. It is a nice small town with a cozy atmosphere surrounded by mountains and green forests. The next day we spent some time in a pool. There are two of them, one with hot and other with cold water. We swam and rested and also enjoyed the views around us. On the third day we went rafting. It was a new great experience and wonderful emotions. We also visited neighboring towns, Lake Windermere, the Fairmont Hot Springs and took a gondola in the Panorama Mountains Resort. On the fourth day we went to see Moraine Lake and the Johnston Canyon. I like mountains so much. It seems that massive peaks support the sky. Mountain lakes and rivers are amazing with their unusual blue-green water. It was a good idea to spend a little holiday in Kootenay and Banff National Parks.
