cooked salmon fillet on wooden cedar plank with lemon slices and dill

Ingredients

  • 2- 3 regular sized salmon fillet pieces
  • A pinch red rock salt or sea salt
  • A pinch black pepper.
  • 2-3 Tbs Garlic paste
  • 1 Lemon.
  • ½ c Olive oil

Directions                                                  

  1. Rinse the salmon fillet pieces and pat dry with paper towel
  2. Rub salt, black pepper and garlic paste onto the salmon fillets and wait 15 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan on medium heat.
  4. Lay the salmon into pan, make sure skin side is facing up and cook until the flesh side is light golden or light brown probably after 6 to 7 minutes. Turn it and continue your cooking until the skin side is light browned approximately after 6 minutes then squeeze lemon juice and remove salmon after one minute from the frying pan.
  5. Most important remove the skin from the salmon and fry in the remaining oil in the fry pan until crispy, probably within 3 to 5 minutes and then serve the crispy skin with the salmon.
