Travel (Outside of Canada)

paris - eiffel tower
Before the pandemic, I had the greatest summer vacation, and it was so fantastic I never wanted it to end.

I spent 7 days in Paris, France. My friend Andy was with me, and he has lived in Paris since 1992.I had a beautiful hotel room in the Latin Quarter and It wasn't even expensive. I had a balcony with a wonderful view of the city, Paris.

I visited many famous tourist places including museums art galleries and cafes along the streets. My favourite location was the Louvre, a well-known museum I had always wanted to visit. I was always interested in art, so this was a special treat for me. The museum is so huge you could spend weeks there. Andy got tired walking around the museum, and he said, ''Enough I need to take a break and rest.” I could have kept going because there was so much to see!

We took lots of breaks and sat in cafes along the river Seine eating and drinking coffee and wine. The French food we ate was delicious and so rich, and the wines were tasty. My most favourite meal was the hotel breakfast. I always said I would be happy if I could eat croissants like those forever. I had so much fun that I'm still talking about it.
