Toronto skyline behind water

Last summer I went on a trip to Toronto; to visit the city and see my cousin whom I haven’t seen for about four years.

It was the first time I traveled alone and it felt great because I realized that my English language level is adequate and I’m able to travel and go places alone; and the excitement and happiness that I felt knowing that I was going to spend a whole week with my cousin and other relatives whom I hadn’t seen for a long time.

We took a tour of the distinctive places in Toronto. One of the most beautiful and attractive natural places I saw was Niagara Falls. We took a lot of pictures while taking a ride in a boat and after that we went for a walk down to the canal.

I got to know the city more by visiting the CN Tower, the Zoo, the aquarium, and Casa Loma castle. We spent a day on Lake Ontario, swimming, playing ball, and cooking some kebabs on the BBQ; and, of course, we had coffee, so we sat and drank it the sunset.

Another day I met some of my childhood friends, and some of the neighbors who had come to Toronto; we met in the evening and about our children, our childhood and our shared memories.

The two weeks passed really fast. I didn't even feel the time because of the great time I spent with them and their kids as well as the beautiful places they showed me. It was so nice meeting them after this long time and we promised each other to meet more often, and spend the holidays or summer together.
