Korean traditional food beef bulgogi

Ingredients

  • Beef Bulgogi 700g (Sirloin)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green onion
  • 2 packs of oyster mushrooms or enoki mushrooms (any type of mushroom can be added)

Seasonings

  • 4 Tbs sugar
  • 2 Tbs Corn Starch Syrup (It can be purchased at Asian marts, but if it is difficult to find, you can substitute it with honey.)
  • 1 Ts plum syrup
  • 3 Tbs minced garlic
  • 12 Tbs soy sauce
  • a little bit of pepper
  • Sesame oil
  1. Put 700g beef sirloin in a bowl, add 5 spoons of sugar, 2 spoons of starch syrup or 2 spoons of honey, 3 spoons of minced garlic, 12 spoons of soy sauce and rub a little pepper to make the seasoning infuse.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil to the prepared mix above (1), rub and wait for 30 minutes.
  3. While waiting, trim vegetables and mushrooms.
  4. Put all the vegetables in the mixture, add 2 spoons of sesame oil, mix and bake over high heat and you’re done!!

Note: If you are sensitive to the smell of meat, we recommend adding a spoonful of sake or cooking wine.

You should also buy thinly sliced beef .

How to make it even more delicious

  1. If you eat bulgogi with hot dog buns, it becomes a bulgogi sandwich.
  2. It is delicious to eat with rice.
  3. It is delicious to eat with sunomono/ sweet potato noodles or common noodles.
