Employment

Happy business team with arms crossed at office

The most impressive thing for me is the beginning of the workplace, the first meeting between co-workers from the most basic good morning, saying hello, greeting each other, which can increase the relationship between co-workers. I believe this is a very good start.

The second thing that impressed me was the mention of people's time and feelings. The concept of time is very important, punctuality and not leaving early are part of basic work culture. Also learning to listen, taking instructions and communicating well are important parts of working with each other as co-workers.

I believe that Canada is a diverse country, so determining Canadian workplace "norms" can be challenging; they will vary depending on who owns or operates the organization and the types of workers employed.

My advice for newcomers to Canada looking for work is, first, to visit your local community employment center, a department that has a lot of job information that is easily available and staffed by patient employees, and which gives one-on-one help for every job seeker.

Secondly, you can search for jobs on the Internet, using the app of Indeed or Facebook, which is also very convenient. You can filter out the right job for yourself and have more choices.
